Eastside Communities Protection Project Archaeological Survey - CLOSED

Lassen Fire Safe Council, Inc. (LFSC) is soliciting qualified consultants interested in performing archaeological survey work in the Plumas National Forest, Beckwourth Ranger District over approximately the next 12-18 months.

Due to the timeline, size, and scope of the project, some of this work may begin immediately after bid offers are accepted, depending on the weather. Prospective contractors are encouraged to conduct a site visit to view the area prior to submitting a proposal. No field tour for prospective contractors is scheduled.

Lassen County Defensible Space Assistance Program - CLOSED

Lassen Fire Safe Council, Inc. is requesting proposals for defensible space treatment from qualified contractors on the Lassen County Defensible Space Program. The project area is Lassen County.

Tentative project implementation is expected in fall of 2023, weather permitted, into spring of 2024. The project will involve defensible space treatments to make properties of vulnerable populations compliant to CALFIRE treatment standards (Public Resource Code 4291). Eligible properties are those properties that are located within low-income communities, disadvantaged communities, or are owned by a senior citizen, disabled person, or veteran within a High or Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone.
