A resident of Shasta County for over 25 years, Yvonne is excited to bring her passion and interests to her new role at LFSC. Her career with State Government Information Technology has prepared her with highly analytical and effective communication skills.
Having experienced wildfires firsthand, Yvonne feels strongly about California’s fire safety. She is committed to being involved in wildfire preparedness and making a difference in communities.

Mr. Crabtree is a retired Forest Supervisor, El Dorado National Forest, completing a career that spanned 50 years. He has decades of experience in the Forest Service, working also in both Plumas and Modoc National Forests. Now retired, Ms. Sanderson brings over a decade of management experience as an R.N. with California Correctional Center, where she also worked on staff development, education, and training. She has worked with the inmate conservation camps that support some of LFSC fuel reduction efforts. She has been looking for an opportunity to serve her community and believes her strengths in education and public outreach will be an asset.

I’ve been a volunteer firefighter since 2004, including wildland firefighting, and I am passionate about fire protection/fire safety. I’m also a Fire & Life Safety Inspector for Fall River Valley Fire District.
I am currently a Board member of the Day Lassen Bench Fire Safe Council and I am excited to work with LFSC and their partners to reduce fuels, create safer communities, and educate the public about fire safety and what everyone can do to help harden their homes and properties.
As General Contractor, I try to keep up with current building standards and how to build homes, especially those built in the WUI, to be more fire resistant.
